Bask in the Cool Autumn Air During the 10th Annual Festival at the Switchyard

Are you ready for seasonal, family-friendly fun? Festival at the Switchyard will return for its 10th year on Saturday, November 2nd! Enjoy live music, free rides, and more when you head to Festival at the Switchyard this weekend!

Festival at the Switchyard honors the critical role the railroad played in putting Carrollton on the map and the continuing importance of rail in Carrollton's present and future. The event is held on the streets of Downtown Carrollton, situated off IH-35E at Belt Line Road, just steps away from the DART Green Line Downtown Carrollton station.

Tripping Daisy and Old 97’s will be the headlining entertainment for the 10th Annual Festival at the Switchyard. In celebration of the Festival at the Switchyard’s 10th anniversary, both Dallas-based bands will serve as a throwback to the inaugural festival in 2010 when Old 97’s and The Polyphonic Spree – which features Tripping Daisy lead singer Tim DeLaughter and other bandmates – headlined the show.

In addition to free concerts, the award-winning Festival at the Switchyard features free live children’s entertainment, free rides, and games, free face painting and balloon art, a beer garden, and an array of food vendors and Festival booths to shop from. There will also be free parking.
