Embrace Your Inner Art Fiend by Attending an All-New Exhibit This Weekend

Established in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art is among the 10 largest art museums in the country and is distinguished by its commitment to research, innovation and public engagement. At the heart of the Museum and its programs is its global collection representing a full range of world cultures.

Currently on display, Gunther Forg: A Fragile Beauty surveys the prolific and provocative career of the late artist Gunther Forg (1952-2013). Forg was closely associated with the Cologne scene of the 1980s, a group of irreverent artists who challenged the traditions of painting. This exhibition—the first major museum presentation of his work in the United States since 1989—brings renewed attention to Forg’s work by examining his legacy in relation to key issues of the 20th century, including postwar nostalgia and loss and the utopianism of high modernism.

Gunther Forg: A Fragile Beauty is co-organized with the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and is on view exclusively in the United State at the Dallas Museum of Art. With that being said, we encourage you to come check out this beautiful exhibit while you can!

Even though Oxford at Iron Horse Apartments in North Richland Hills, Texas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
