Join in for a social event discussing what defines light, medium, and dark roasts and brewing techniques that make killer sours and sour-inspired ales. Guest speakers from Cuvee, Jester King, Blue Owl, and 4th Tap will lead the discussions, pour the beer, and be there to answer any questions.
Coffee: Cuvee's Head Roaster, Director of Training, and Lead Barista will guide you through a discussion and sampling of roasted dark, medium, and light coffee. Each Cuvee guest speaker will take on one particular roast and discuss it with the group. You will be able to sample each roast and by the end be able to compare and contrast their characteristics and define which roast you favor.
Beer: We will also be learning from the Masters of Austin Sour Beers on what makes their sour unique, craft quality, and dynamite to drink. Samples of each beer and discussions will be lead by our friends at Jester King, Blue Owl, and 4th Tap.
If you feel like escaping Oxford at Iron Horse in North Richland Hills, Texas for the day, this event is a perfect opportunity to do just that!
