Customize Your Salad with These 3 Summer-Forward Dressings That Can Be Made at Home

Summer is the perfect time to perfect your favorite salad recipes. From salads filled with leafy greens and lean protein to side salads that are piled high with fresh vegetables, there’s no wrong way to create a delicious and nutritious salad – unless, of course, you don’t use one of these tasty dressing recipes from Linda Spiker of The Organic Kitchen! Citrus Vinaigrette

• 1/2 cup quality extra virgin olive oil
• Zest of one lemon
• Juice of 1 orange, 1 lemon, and 1 lime
• 1 teaspoon mustard
• 1 tablespoon white balsamic
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 tablespoon shallot, peeled and chopped
• Pinch sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Raspberry Vinaigrette:

• 1/2 cup quality extra virgin olive oil
• 1/4 cup raspberry vinegar
• 1 Tablespoon honey
• Juice of half a lemon
• 1 Tablespoon chives, chopped
• Pinch sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Tangerine Dressing:

• 1/2 cup good quality extra virgin olive oil
• 1/4 cup fresh tangerine juice
• 2 teaspoons honey
• Zest and juice of 1 small lemon
• 1 small clove garlic, peeled and minced
• Pinch sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions:

To create these dazzling dressings, simply mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in jars or other food containers and use within a week.
