The YMCA celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Turkey Trot! A tradition since 1967, the Trot has taken over the Dallas area and provided a fun morning for families on Thanksgiving Day. By 1979, the race became so popular that it was relocated to downtown Dallas to showcase the big city. Since then the race has brought people in from all over the world.
The Trot includes the choice of an eight-mile distance and a 5k Fun Run/Walk. Even if you're not a runner, there are still fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. For complete details, visit www.thetrot.org
