1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup pineapple-orange juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon chopped basil
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes. This sauce is great on chicken, pork, and fish. Refrigerate any leftover sauce.
